Ha, I bet you weren't expecting anything like this for my next deviation ^_^ . Ok, so I have a secret obsession for horses. I LOVE them and enjoy drawing them so much more than wolves. That’s not to say I am going to stop drawing wolves, just you might see a lot more horses appear in my gallery once I have finished all my trades and requests etc. I think it’s because now I am at uni I just don't have the time to ride anymore and its starting to drive me crazy
 I guess if I had my own horse this is what he would look like, I have always had an obsession with appaloosas and paint horses. Well this is Apache, my new horse character who is semi-wild and part-mustang. It is because of his blood line that he is finding it hard to fit it, being rejected from his human owners due to his wild nature yet outcasted by the horse herds because of his contact with humans. The proportions are excellent, but there are a couple of anatomy things that seem a bit strange - I've never owned a horse breed that has the notorious "arab" tail, but is it not normally loose unless they're excited/running? Also the neck where it joins the shoulder looks a little odd; probably just me
Either way, I love the style, and the feather adds a really nice splash of colour to him - gorgeous!
