Merry belated Christmas

I volunteered to do an extra piece between projects as some people never received anything for the Equine Secret Santa

I picked her beautiful Stallion Taurë, I really loved his design and history (anything LOTR related and I am game)

Tried something new with the shading, something a long the lines of sooper-dooper complex but the reference I used was so beautiful I didn't want to simplify it, link to the picture is at the bottom and I would really suggest taking a look at the artists photographs.

I don't think I ever spoke to you much but you were amongst the first people I watched when I joined dA. I found you via *MichelleWalker (I think) and I remember once trying out gradient-ish colouring in one of my traditional drawings inspired by you! It's absolutely wonderful to have you back, I gotta admit I was already afraid you wouldn't return here. After all one reason I joined the site was to be able to fave some of your artworks, so it also feels kinda nostalgic to see new drawings from you!
